New Jersey is a state located in the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. It is bordered by New York to the north and east, Pennsylvania to the west, and Delaware to the south. The Atlantic Ocean lies to the east of New Jersey, with its coastline stretching along 127 miles of beaches.

New Jersey has a humid continental climate with hot summers and cold winters. Average temperatures range from 25°F in January to 75°F in July. The state receives an average of 44 inches of precipitation each year with snowfall occurring mainly between December and March.
