Palestine TX Home for Sale

This attractive, comfortable, custom 3-2-2 rural home is on a hill in the midst of wonderful big trees on approximately 6 acres. Some of the oaks are over 70 years old. It's only 9 miles from the Loop around Palestine, so it's fairly near town but far enough out for that country feeling. The location is in the desirable Slocum school district. A game-managed timber tract touches on a point at the back of the property, and those deer sometimes can be seen visiting the feed trough in the open area out back. There are no deed restrictions or HOA fees. This home's 2,194 sq. ft. includes a 3rd bedroom or den that was added on. The floor plan is efficient, the kitchen is fairly roomy, all the bedrooms are good size, and the living-dining area is open and huge. There's a large, jetted hot tub in one bathroom for your enjoyment. Two outbuildings with electricity are included. The "She Shed" is 12'x20' and has AC; it was a sewing room. The "He Shed" is 12'x24' and has been a workshop/storage bldg. The home's appliances operate on electricity, except for propane to the gas log fireplace. This home offers the space and facilities to enjoy your hobbies, or entertain family/friends, or just relax in the country and watch nature! Seller will consider granting Buyer an Allowance toward improvements.

Tyler TX Home for Sale

This home is located conveniently just outside Loop 323 SE and off the Troup highway for easy access to medical and college facilities as well as downtown. Its in a charming older subdivision with large, beautiful trees; the home was built in 1966. This 4-2-2 has a very efficient floor plan and features tons of closet space and decent-sized rooms. The key structural elements appear sound. The roof was replaced in 2018, and most of the wood privacy fence was replaced recently. The roomy back yard of this 0.257-acre lot includes a huge, shady oak tree just off the covered patio. The home is clean and livable but is in need of significant updating, such as re-painting and re-flooring. It has tremendous upside potential!
