Bill started appraising real estate for the Bank of America in Chico while in his last year at Chico State University. After his graduation with a Business Degree as a Finance Major, he went to work for an independent real estate appraisal firm in Chico. After 5 years there, he decided to open up his own appraisal firm and Granicher Appraisals started business on June 1st 1990. He’s still an active appraiser and his appraisal firm has grown quite a bit over the years with most of his appraisal clients being mortgage lenders, banks, private and corporate companies, attorneys and private parties. His real estate experience also includes buying and selling his own properties, minor land development, new home building, rental property ownership, rental property management and house “flipping” as well. So he is well-versed and experienced in most aspects of local real estate. He’s always happy to tell people what he knows and what is possible or steer them in the right direction.
