Peter Cook
Peter was born and raised in San Francisco. In 1995 he graduated UCSC with a degree in economics and began graduate studies and purchased his first property in Santa Cruz. In 1997 he became the youngest real estate broker in California (at that time) and began Cook Realty and Property Management.Since then, it has been all real estate, with Krista Cook joining the team in 2002 and Mark Thomas in 2004. In 2007, to accommodate their growing business, Peter and Krista became Lighthouse Realty and Property Management and opened an office in the Swift Street Courtyard by Kelly’s Bakery. Lighthouse Realty now has a team of over ten sales agents plus two property managers. Peter specializes in residential sales, investment property, property management, distressed property rehabilitation and code or zoning issues. He has done several small development projects. He also supports the sales agents at Lighthouse Realty to help them achieve their maximum sales potential. In his free time Peter enjoys surfing, kite surfing, skiing, snowboarding, being a member of Santa Cruz Rotary, and most importantly spending time with his lovely wife and three children, Carson, Penelope, and Waverly Cook.
