Skip spent many years on the move and finally found his way back to the Blue Ridge Mountains.After earning his master’s from Virginia Tech, Skip decided that the New River Valley, with its outdoor amenities, authentic mountain music, and welcoming sense of community, was the perfect place to call home. He now shares both his love for the mountains and music with his wife and two daughters. Whether it is spending time with his family; playing in the backcountry or on the banjo and guitar; participating in community events; or working on his career as a real estate professional, Skip has certainly found a home here in the New River Valley and thoroughly enjoys helping others do the same.
