Joel grew up as the oldest son in a military family and was custom to moving to new & exciting locales. He called places like Hawaii, San Diego & Seattle his hometowns. When Joel’s dad retired in 1978, he moved the family to beautiful Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. Because of his frequent moves, Joel had to adapt to his surroundings & picked up a variety of sports, hobbies & activities along the way. Joel’s interests include family, baseball, golf, skiing, snowboarding, catching & handling live rattle snakes & reptiles, poker, motocross, & mountain biking.In 1983 and after college, Joel moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ & started his career in the swimming pool & landscape business. In 1986 he moved the business to Mesa, AZ. There, he became a licensed swimming pool contractor and owned and operated three successful pool companies at the same time including Joel’s Quality Pool Plumbing, Arizona Pool Excavation and AZ Gas Lines. In 1991 Joel acquired his Real Estate License. It was not until Joel sold his businesses in late 2005 that he had time to practice & enjoy his new chosen career.Joel’s experience, knowledge & familiarity with Metro Phoenix/Mesa for the past 30 years, his appreciation of the Sonoran Desert & his contractor background is an added value in providing individuals and families with a pleasant, competent & rewarding experience when it comes to all their Real Estate needs. Joel’s ability to adapt helps him personally identify with his clients wants & needs.Currently Joel runs a successful Real Estate Team & enjoys, consulting, teaching Real Estate classes, building his team, working with investors, managing fix & flips & helping his clients serve their needs. His designations include Accredited Buyer Representative, First Time Home Buyer Consultant, Short Sale Specialist and Military Specialist. Joel’s real satisfaction comes from being a husband, father and helping others.
