I had an incredible experience with Tanya as my agent. I found her by luck. I had just started looking for a lake front property, knowing absolutely nothing about the market, and she sent a genuine response to my online inquiry when most agents send automatic responses. She was very knowledgable about the market, immediately put us in touch with a fantastic mortgage broker, listened closely to our must haves and found the perfect property for us. We were purchasing outside the state we live in, so having that expertise in an agent was really important for us.
If you know anything about the lake front property market you know that things don't last long, so when the property popped up within our budget Tanya went over to give me a virtual walkthrough that afternoon. Two days later (on a Saturday afternoon none the less), she walked us through the property in person and then worked through the night to get our offer assembled and submitted to the sellers.
I was most impressed with Tanya during the inspection, due diligence process. We purchased an old camp, that obviously needed some work. Tanya was able to get some of her contacts to come to the property and provide quotes for work that needed done to use in negotiation. She also demonstrated her very strong negotiation skills by getting the sellers, who were very very set on their price, to come down on that price based on the inspection results and quotes.
Because of Tanya's hard work, the ENTIRE process from our initial in-person walk through to closing took only 5 weeks (and we even agreed to give the sellers an extra week to move out).
Lastly, Tanya is just a really awesome human. She's stayed in touch to make sure things are going ok since the close. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to purchase or sell a property, she will make sure you get exactly what you are looking for at a fair price and have a good time doing it! We can't wait to use our little camp for years to come.
