I've been a full time Realtor® for over 20 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, with 10 years of those as a Team Leader overseeing 15-20 Realtors®. I've sold homes in four different Counties: San Mateo, Santa Clara, Alameda and San Francisco. Each market, although drive-able are different from each other. As a Realtor®: I've seen the market in its peak and in its lows. I've sold everything from condominiums to luxury homes, to definitely one-of-a-kind homes. My transactions have been mostly traditional regular sales, with a smattering of Short Sales and REO's, during economic down times. I've met all kinds of sellers and buyers, lenders, escrow officers and vendors all with markedly different personalities. This leads to interesting transactions. Each transaction brings with it new 'unknowns'. I've heard people say that Realtors® are 'masochists' and 'angels of hope and shelter' - a bit of truth in both. Before my real estate life, I was a business consultant, business funding resource, an entrepreneur, headhunter, and career coach, all of which can be all-consuming and rewarding as well. I have a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation from the National Association of Realtors®.
