Licia is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and, she has been residing in the United States for the past 44 years. First, she lived in Monterey, California. Then, she moved to New York City, where she lived for 10 years. Finally, she relocated to South Florida, where she has been for the past 34 years. Licia earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture & Design at Bennett University in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. However, she had a passion for working with the public and redirected her education. She studied travel, tourism, translation, and interpretation. Afterward, Licia began her career at Varig Brazilian Airlines. She worked at Varig Airlines for 10 years and at United Airlines for three years. Considering the 13 years of working with people from all over the world, exploring different countries, and learning about several cultures, Licia challenged herself as an entrepreneur. She established her own import and export business working directly with South America for five years. In 1999, she changed direction and headed into real estate. Licia embarked on this new path with Century 21 Tenace Realty in Coral Springs, Florida. In March 2004, she had the opportunity to work at Prudential Florida Realty in Aventura, Florida, and now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Realty.
