Windsor Locks High School is a public school located in the small town of Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Established in 1892, it has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school offers an array of educational opportunities and extracurricular activities that help foster growth and development among its student body.

The high school consists of grades 9-12 with approximately 600 students enrolled each year. It offers a wide variety of courses including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Art & Music as well as Advanced Placement classes such as Calculus AB/BC and Physics C: Mechanics & Electricity/Magnetism. In addition to these core subjects there are also elective courses available such as Business Technology Applications (BTA), Computer Science Principles (CSP) and Spanish Language Arts (SLA).

Outside the classroom students have access to numerous clubs and organizations like National Honor Society (NHS), Student Council (SC), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and many more. There are also several sports teams offered at Windsor Locks High School including Football, Basketball, Baseball/Softball, Soccer and Track & Field which compete against other schools in the area throughout the year.

Overall Windsor Locks High School provides a safe learning environment where students can grow academically while developing their social skills through various extracurricular activities. With dedicated teachers who strive to provide quality instruction combined with engaging programs outside the classroom this institution continues to be one of Connecticut’s top performing high schools year after year!
