Palermo School Description
Palermo School is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in the heart of Palermo, California. Established in 1887, Palermo School has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. With an enrollment of approximately 500 students from kindergarten through eighth grade, Palermo School offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core academic subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies and physical education. In addition to these core classes, students have access to elective courses such as art, music and technology.
At Palermo School we strive to create an environment where all children can reach their full potential by fostering creativity and critical thinking skills while developing strong character traits like respect and responsibility. Our teachers are highly qualified professionals who use innovative teaching methods to engage our students in meaningful learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. We also offer extracurricular activities including sports teams, clubs and after-school programs designed to help our students explore their interests while building relationships with peers from different backgrounds.
We believe that every student should be given the opportunity to succeed regardless of race or economic background which is why we provide financial assistance for families who qualify so they can afford tuition costs at Palermo School.
