Needles High School Description
Needles High School is a public high school located at 1900 Erin Dr in Needles, California. Established in 1891, it is the oldest secondary school in San Bernardino County and one of the oldest schools in all of California. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students.
Needles High School offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core classes such as English, math, science, social studies and foreign language. In addition to these courses, the school also provides electives such as art, music and physical education. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are available for those who wish to challenge themselves academically.
The faculty at Needles High School consists of highly qualified teachers with years of experience teaching their respective subjects. They strive to create an environment where learning can take place without fear or intimidation while encouraging students to reach their full potentials both inside and outside the classroom.
Outside of academics, Needles High School offers numerous extracurricular activities including sports teams like football, basketball and baseball; clubs like drama club and chess club; student government; yearbook staff; band program; choir program; robotics team; debate team; dance team; cheerleading squad and more! These activities provide students with opportunities to develop leadership skills while having fun with friends after class hours.
