Ulysses Grant Elementary School is a public school located in Colton, California. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was established in the early 1900s and named after Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States.
The school offers a variety of educational programs to meet the needs of its diverse student population. These include core academic classes such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and art; special education services; English Language Learner (ELL) instruction; gifted/talented programming; and before-and-after-school care for working parents.
Ulysses Grant Elementary School also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs and other enrichment opportunities that help foster positive relationships among students while developing their skills outside of the classroom setting.
