Barstow High School Description
Barstow High School is a public high school located in Barstow, California. Established in 1891, it is the oldest high school in San Bernardino County and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students and offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, college preparatory classes, career technical education (CTE) pathways, special education services and more.
The campus features modern facilities such as computer labs with internet access for student use; science laboratories; library media center; gymnasiums; athletic fields; performing arts theater; cafeteria/food service area; and outdoor recreational areas. In addition to its educational offerings, Barstow High School also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams (football, basketball, baseball), clubs (drama club, chess club), music ensembles (band & choir) and other organizations like National Honor Society.
At Barstow High School we strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous academics combined with meaningful social experiences that will prepare them for success beyond graduation day.
