Wayne High School Description
Wayne High School is a public high school located in Wayne, West Virginia. Established in 1892, it serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school offers a wide range of educational opportunities including Advanced Placement courses, college preparatory classes, career and technical education programs, and extracurricular activities such as sports teams and clubs.
The faculty at Wayne High School are dedicated to providing quality instruction that prepares their students for success after graduation. They strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous academics and meaningful experiences outside the classroom.
In addition to its academic offerings, Wayne High School also provides numerous extracurricular activities for its student body. These include athletics such as football, basketball, baseball/softball, track & field; performing arts groups like band and choir; clubs like National Honor Society; service organizations like Key Club; and many more!
