Poca High School Description

Poca High School is a public school located at 1 Dot Way in Poca, West Virginia. Established in 1891, it is the oldest high school in Putnam County and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of approximately 800 students and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, dual credit classes with Marshall University, career technical education pathways, and college preparatory classes.

The faculty at Poca High School are dedicated to providing quality instruction that prepares their students for success after graduation. They strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous coursework and extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, music ensembles, theater productions and more.
