Edgewood Elementary School Description

Edgewood Elementary School is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1954, Edgewood has been providing quality education to students for over 65 years. With an enrollment of nearly 500 students from Pre-K through 5th grade, Edgewood offers a wide range of educational opportunities that are tailored to meet each student’s individual needs.

At Edgewood, we strive to create an environment where all children can learn and grow together. Our teachers are dedicated to helping our students reach their full potential by providing them with engaging lessons and activities that foster critical thinking skills and creativity. We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as art classes, music programs, sports teams, clubs and more!

Our commitment to excellence extends beyond the classroom walls; we believe in creating strong partnerships between home and school so that parents can be involved in their child’s education. We host regular parent meetings throughout the year as well as family events like movie nights or field trips so families can come together outside of school hours too!
