Lafollette High School Description
Lafollette High School is a public high school located in Madison, Wisconsin. Founded in 1954, it serves the students of the city's west side and surrounding areas. The school has an enrollment of over 1,400 students from grades 9-12.
The school offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as college preparatory classes. It also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs and organizations for its student body to participate in. Lafollette High School boasts a strong athletic program with teams competing at both the varsity and junior varsity levels in football, basketball, baseball/softball, volleyball, track & field and soccer.
In addition to academics and athletics, Lafollette High School also offers many other opportunities for its students to get involved outside of the classroom. These include community service projects through their Service Learning Program; art classes; music ensembles; theater productions; robotics competitions; career exploration events; leadership development workshops; mentoring programs; after-school tutoring sessions and more!
