Fort Atkinson High School Description
Fort Atkinson High School is a public high school located in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Established in 1876, it is the oldest high school in Jefferson County and one of the oldest schools in the state. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students.
The mission of Fort Atkinson High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all students. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where each student can reach their full potential through rigorous coursework, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.
At Fort Atkinson High School, there are numerous opportunities for students to get involved outside of the classroom. There are over 30 clubs available including art club, chess club, drama club, robotics team and more! In addition to these clubs there are also many sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball/softball and track & field that compete at both district and state levels.
Fort Atkinson High School prides itself on its commitment to providing quality education for all its students regardless of background or ability level.
