Davis High School Description
Davis High School is a public high school located in Yakima, Washington. Founded in 1909, it is the oldest high school in the city and one of the oldest schools in the state. The school serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students.
At Davis High School, students are encouraged to explore their interests through a variety of academic programs and extracurricular activities. The curriculum includes core classes such as English, math, science, social studies and foreign language as well as electives like art, music and physical education. Advanced Placement courses are also available for those who wish to challenge themselves academically.
Outside of academics, Davis High School offers numerous clubs and organizations that allow students to pursue their passions while developing leadership skills. These include student government groups like Student Council or National Honor Society; service clubs such as Key Club or Interact; performing arts ensembles including band or choir; sports teams ranging from football to basketball; plus many more options for all types of interests!
