Garfield Elementary School Description

Garfield Elementary School is a public school located in the heart of Spokane, Washington. Established in 1892, Garfield has been providing quality education to students for over 125 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and offers an array of educational opportunities including music, art, physical education, and technology classes.

The faculty at Garfield are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by creating a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration. They strive to provide individualized instruction tailored to meet the needs of every student while also fostering a sense of community among all members of the school family.

In addition to its academic offerings, Garfield provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, after-school programs, field trips, and more. These activities help foster social development skills while allowing students to explore new interests outside the classroom setting.
