Wainwright Elementary School is a public school located in the city of Fircrest, Washington. Founded in 1950, Wainwright has been providing quality education to students for over 70 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of all learners.

At Wainwright, teachers strive to create an environment that encourages learning and growth while fostering respect for diversity. Through its commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, Wainwright provides a safe and nurturing atmosphere where children can explore their interests and develop skills necessary for success in life.

The curriculum at Wainwright focuses on developing critical thinking skills as well as problem solving abilities. Students are encouraged to take risks with their ideas while exploring new concepts and topics. In addition, the school emphasizes social-emotional development by offering activities such as mindfulness practice, yoga classes, art therapy sessions, music lessons, drama clubs, outdoor playtime opportunities and more.
