Orin Smith Elementary Description

Orin Smith Elementary School is a public school located in Chehalis, Washington. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1954 and named after Orin Smith, a local businessman who donated the land for the building.

The mission of Orin Smith Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty strives to create an atmosphere where all children can reach their full potential by providing quality instruction with high expectations for student achievement.

At Orin Smith Elementary School, teachers use innovative teaching methods such as project-based learning and technology integration to engage students in meaningful activities that promote critical thinking skills. In addition to core subjects like math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and health classes are also offered at the school.
