Highgate School is a private, independent school located in Highgate Center, Vermont. Founded in 1883, the school has been providing quality education to students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12 for over 130 years. The school offers an academically rigorous curriculum that emphasizes critical thinking and problem solving skills as well as creative expression and collaboration.
The campus of Highgate School consists of two buildings: the main building which houses classrooms, offices, library and cafeteria; and the gymnasium/auditorium complex which includes a full-size basketball court, fitness center, dance studio and music room. In addition to its academic program, Highgate also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams (soccer, basketball), clubs (chess club) and student organizations (National Honor Society).
