Thoreau Middle School Description
Thoreau Middle School is a vibrant and diverse learning community located in Vienna, Virginia. Founded in 1972, Thoreau has been providing quality education to students for over four decades. The school offers an array of academic programs designed to meet the needs of all learners. From core classes such as math, science, English and social studies to electives like art, music and physical education, Thoreau provides its students with a comprehensive educational experience.
The faculty at Thoreau are dedicated professionals who strive to create an environment that encourages exploration and discovery. They work hard to ensure that each student receives individualized attention so they can reach their full potential. In addition to academics, the school also offers extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs and after-school programs which help foster teamwork and leadership skills among its students.
