West Springfield High School Description
West Springfield High School is a public high school located in the heart of Springfield, Virginia. Established in 1965, West Springfield has been providing quality education to its students for over 50 years. With an enrollment of nearly 2,000 students from grades 9-12, West Springfield offers a wide variety of courses and activities that are designed to challenge and engage all types of learners.
The school's curriculum includes core classes such as English, math, science and social studies as well as electives like art, music and physical education. Advanced Placement (AP) courses are also available for those who wish to pursue college credit while still in high school. In addition to academics, West Springfield provides numerous extracurricular activities including sports teams such as football, basketball and soccer; clubs like drama club or student council; and service organizations like National Honor Society or Key Club.
