Livingston Elementary School Description
Livingston Elementary School is a public school located in Spotsylvania, Virginia. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was established in 1965 and is part of the Spotsylvania County Public Schools system.
The mission at Livingston Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment where all children can reach their full potential academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. The staff works hard to ensure that each student receives individualized instruction tailored to meet his or her needs.
Livingston Elementary offers a variety of programs including music classes, physical education classes, art classes, library services, technology-based instruction, after-school activities such as clubs and sports teams for both boys and girls. In addition to these offerings there are also special education services available for those who need them.
The faculty at Livingston Elementary consists of highly qualified teachers with years of experience teaching elementary aged children. They strive to create an atmosphere that encourages learning while fostering respect among peers and adults alike. Parents are encouraged to be involved in their child’s educational journey by attending parent/teacher conferences throughout the year as well as volunteering in various capacities within the school community.
