L.L. Beazley Elementary School is a public school located in Prince George, Virginia. It serves students from kindergarten through fifth grade and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school was founded in 1965 and named after the late Lillian Louise Beazley, who served as a teacher at the school for many years before her retirement in 1984.
The mission of L.L. Beazley Elementary School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship among its students. To achieve this goal, the school offers a variety of educational programs including core classes such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and health; special education services; gifted/talented instruction; technology-based learning opportunities; art classes; music lessons; foreign language instruction; and extracurricular activities like sports teams and clubs.
In addition to providing quality academics for its students, L.L. Beazley Elementary also strives to create an atmosphere where all members of the community feel welcome and respected regardless of race or background by promoting diversity awareness initiatives throughout the year such as cultural celebrations and assemblies featuring guest speakers from different backgrounds sharing their stories with our student body .
