Ruffner Middle School is a public school located in the heart of Norfolk, Virginia. Established in 1954, Ruffner has been providing quality education to students for over 65 years. The school serves grades 6-8 and currently enrolls approximately 600 students from diverse backgrounds.
At Ruffner, teachers strive to create an environment that encourages learning and growth through innovative teaching methods and engaging activities. Students are encouraged to explore their interests while developing critical thinking skills and problem solving abilities. In addition to core academic subjects such as math, science, language arts, social studies, physical education and health classes are offered at the middle school level.
