Western Branch High School Description
Western Branch High School is a public high school located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Established in 1968, the school has been providing quality education to students from grades 9-12 for over 50 years. The school offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities that help prepare its students for college and beyond.
The student body at Western Branch High School is diverse with approximately 1,800 students enrolled each year. The faculty consists of highly qualified teachers who are dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential. In addition to traditional classes such as math, science, English and social studies, the school also offers advanced placement courses in several subjects including calculus and physics.
Outside of academics, Western Branch High School provides numerous opportunities for its students to get involved in clubs and organizations such as National Honor Society or Student Council. There are also many sports teams available including football, basketball, baseball/softball and soccer among others. Additionally there are plenty of after-school activities like drama club or robotics team which allow students to explore different interests outside of the classroom setting.
