Venable Elementary School Description

Venable Elementary School is a public school located in the heart of Charlottesville, Virginia. Established in 1883, Venable has been providing quality education to students for over 130 years. The school serves approximately 500 students from kindergarten through fifth grade and offers an array of educational programs including music, art, physical education and technology classes.

The faculty at Venable are dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment where all children can thrive academically and socially. They strive to create meaningful relationships with their students by engaging them in activities that promote critical thinking skills as well as social-emotional development. In addition to its academic offerings, Venable also provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs and afterschool programs designed to help foster student growth outside of the classroom setting.

At Venable Elementary School we believe that every child deserves access to a quality education regardless of background or ability level. We are committed to helping our students reach their full potential while fostering a sense of community among our staff members and families alike.
