Uintah High School Description
Uintah High School is a public high school located in Vernal, Utah. Established in 1891, Uintah High School has been providing quality education to the students of Vernal and surrounding areas for over 125 years. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core classes such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies as well as electives like Art, Music and Physical Education.
The student body at Uintah High School consists of approximately 1,000 students from grades 9-12. The faculty is comprised of highly qualified teachers who are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. In addition to academics, Uintah High School also provides extracurricular activities including sports teams (football, basketball, baseball/softball), clubs (National Honor Society) and other organizations (Student Council).
Uintah High School prides itself on its commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. With an emphasis on developing strong character traits such as respectfulness and responsibility among its students, Uintah High School strives to create an environment where all can thrive academically while learning important life skills along the way.
