Beehive Science & Technology Academy (bsta) Description

Beehive Science & Technology Academy (BSTA) is a public charter school located in Sandy, Utah. Founded in 2002, BSTA provides an innovative and rigorous education to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The school focuses on STEM-related subjects such as mathematics, science, engineering, technology and computer science. BSTA also offers a variety of extracurricular activities including robotics clubs, chess teams and debate teams.

At BSTA, teachers strive to create an environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking skills while providing the necessary support for each student’s individual learning needs. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning experiences with real world applications so that students can develop their problem solving abilities and gain confidence in their own knowledge base.
