Orem High School Description
Orem High School is a public high school located in Orem, Utah. Established in 1891, it is the oldest high school in the city and one of the oldest schools in Utah County. With an enrollment of over 2,000 students, Orem High School offers a comprehensive education for grades 9-12. The school has been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education and was named one of America's Best High Schools by Newsweek magazine in 2010.
At Orem High School, students are encouraged to explore their interests through various clubs and activities such as student government, robotics team, drama club, debate team and more. The school also provides numerous Advanced Placement (AP) courses that allow students to earn college credit while still attending high school. Additionally, there are several career technical education programs available at Orem High School including automotive technology and culinary arts classes which provide hands-on learning experiences for students interested in pursuing those fields after graduation.
