Mountain View High School Description

Mountain View High School is a public high school located in Orem, Utah. It serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 2,000 students. The school was founded in 1967 and is part of the Alpine School District. Mountain View High School offers a wide variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses, honors classes, career technical education (CTE), special education services, and college preparatory classes.

The school also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics, clubs, student government organizations, performing arts groups, and community service opportunities. Mountain View High School's athletic teams compete in the 5A division of the UHSAA state championships for football and basketball. The school mascot is the Bruin Bear and its colors are navy blue and white.

Mountain View High School prides itself on providing a safe learning environment that encourages personal growth through academics as well as social development through extracurricular activities. With dedicated teachers who strive to help each student reach their full potential both inside and outside of the classroom setting, Mountain View High School continues to be one of Utah’s top educational institutions year after year.
