Academy For Math Engineering & Science (AMES) School is a public charter school located in Murray, Utah. Founded in 2002, AMES provides an innovative and rigorous academic program for students in grades 6-12. The mission of the school is to provide a challenging learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, problem solving skills and collaboration among its students.

At AMES, students are encouraged to explore their interests through hands-on projects and activities that foster curiosity and exploration. The curriculum focuses on mathematics, engineering, science and technology with an emphasis on real world applications. Students have access to state-of-the art equipment such as 3D printers and robotics kits which allow them to develop their own solutions to problems they encounter during class time or independent study.

In addition to academics, AMES offers extracurricular activities including sports teams such as basketball and volleyball as well as clubs like chess club or debate team. There are also opportunities for community service projects throughout the year where students can give back to their local communities while developing leadership skills at the same time.
