Upperman Middle Description
Upperman Middle School is a public school located in Baxter, Tennessee. It serves students from grades 6-8 and has an enrollment of approximately 600 students. The school was founded in 1998 and is part of the Putnam County Schools system.
The mission of Upperman Middle School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty at Upperman are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by providing individualized instruction and support for all learners.
Upperman offers a variety of extracurricular activities including sports teams such as basketball, football, baseball, softball, volleyball, track & field, cheerleading and golf; clubs like art club, drama club and robotics; as well as afterschool programs like tutoring services and enrichment classes.
At Upperman Middle School we strive to create an atmosphere where every student feels welcomed and respected while developing the skills necessary for success in high school and beyond!
