Crestwood High School Description
Crestwood High School is a public high school located in Sumter, South Carolina. Established in 1965, Crestwood has been providing quality education to the students of Sumter County for over 50 years. The school offers a wide range of academic programs and extracurricular activities that are designed to meet the needs of all its students.
The student body at Crestwood consists of approximately 1,000 students from grades 9-12. The faculty and staff strive to create an environment where every student can reach their full potential through rigorous academics and engaging activities. In addition to traditional classes such as math, science, English, history and foreign language courses; Crestwood also offers specialized electives like art, music and physical education.
Crestwood's athletic teams have achieved great success throughout the years with multiple state championships in football, basketball and baseball. The school also boasts numerous clubs including National Honor Society (NHS), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and Student Council which provide opportunities for leadership development among its members.
At Crestwood High School we believe that each student should be given the opportunity to succeed both academically and socially while preparing them for college or career readiness upon graduation.
