Applied Technology Center Description

The Applied Technology Center School (ATC) is a public school located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Founded in 2002, ATC has become one of the most respected and successful schools in the area. The school offers an innovative approach to learning that combines traditional classroom instruction with hands-on experience and real-world applications.

At ATC, students are encouraged to explore their interests through project-based learning activities and career exploration opportunities. Students have access to state-of-the art technology such as 3D printers, robotics kits, virtual reality headsets, and more. In addition to core academic classes like math and science, ATC also offers specialized courses such as computer programming, engineering design & fabrication, digital media production & design, game development & animation, web design & development, business management & entrepreneurship skills training.

In addition to its rigorous curriculum offerings for grades 6–12th grade students at ATC can participate in extracurricular activities including sports teams such as basketball and soccer; clubs like chess club or debate team; student government; community service projects; field trips; internships; job shadowing experiences; college tours; leadership conferences; summer camps/programs abroad and much more!

At ATC we strive to create a safe environment where all students feel welcome regardless of race or background so they can reach their full potential academically while developing important life skills along the way.
