Lamar High School Description
Lamar High School is a public high school located in Lamar, South Carolina. Established in 1891, it serves students from grades 9-12 and has an enrollment of approximately 500 students. The school offers a variety of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses, honors classes, and career and technical education opportunities.
The campus features modern facilities such as computer labs, science laboratories, library media centers, art studios and athletic fields. It also provides extracurricular activities like band, chorus, drama club and student government to help foster the development of its students’ talents outside the classroom.
At Lamar High School we strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous academics combined with meaningful social experiences that will prepare them for college or careers after graduation.
