Sangaree Middle School Description
Sangaree Middle School is a public school located in Ladson, South Carolina. It serves students from grades 6-8 and has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students. The school was founded in 1997 and is part of the Berkeley County School District.
The mission of Sangaree Middle School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence, personal growth, and responsible citizenship. The faculty at Sangaree are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by providing individualized instruction and support for all learners.
Sangaree offers a variety of extracurricular activities including sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball/softball, volleyball, soccer, track & field; clubs like drama club and robotics; after-school programs like homework help; and special events throughout the year such as dances and spirit days.
In addition to its strong academics program, Sangaree also provides a range of services designed to meet the needs of its diverse student body including counseling services for social/emotional issues; health services for physical well-being; English language learner (ELL) classes; gifted education courses; career exploration opportunities through internships or job shadowing experiences; college preparation resources such as SAT prep classes or college visits; and more.
