Hemingway High School is a public high school located in Hemingway, South Carolina. Founded in 1892, it is the oldest and largest high school in Williamsburg County. The school serves students from grades 9-12 with an enrollment of approximately 1,200 students.
The mission of Hemingway High School is to provide a safe learning environment that encourages academic excellence and personal growth for all students. The faculty and staff strive to create an atmosphere where each student can reach their full potential while developing respect for themselves and others.
At Hemingway High School, there are numerous opportunities available for students to get involved both inside and outside the classroom. Students have access to a wide range of extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, music programs, theater productions, art classes, community service projects and more. In addition to these activities, the school also offers Advanced Placement courses which allow students to earn college credit while still in high school.
