Riverside High School Description

Riverside High School is a public high school located in Greer, South Carolina. Founded in 1965, Riverside has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. The school serves grades 9-12 and currently enrolls approximately 1,400 students from the surrounding area.

Riverside offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement (AP) courses as well as career and technical education classes such as automotive technology, culinary arts, engineering design & development, health science technology and more. In addition to academics, Riverside also provides extracurricular activities such as athletics (football, basketball, baseball/softball), cheerleading and dance teams along with clubs like National Honor Society and Student Council.

The faculty at Riverside are dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential by providing individualized instruction that meets the needs of all learners. With an emphasis on college readiness and 21st century skills development through project-based learning experiences, Riverside strives to prepare its graduates for success beyond high school graduation.
