Dillon High School Description
Dillon High School is a public high school located in Dillon, South Carolina. Founded in 1891, it serves students from grades 9-12 and is part of the Dillon County School District. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students and offers a wide variety of educational opportunities including Advanced Placement courses, college preparatory classes, career technical education programs, and extracurricular activities such as athletics and clubs.
The mission of Dillon High School is to provide each student with the opportunity to reach their full potential through rigorous academic instruction that prepares them for success in college or career. The faculty at Dillon High are dedicated to providing quality instruction while also fostering a safe learning environment where all students can thrive.
In addition to its strong academics program, Dillon High also provides numerous extracurricular activities for its students including sports teams such as football, basketball, baseball/softball, soccer and track & field; performing arts groups like band and chorus; various clubs like National Honor Society; and other organizations such as Student Council.
