Long Middle School Description

Long Middle School is a public school located in the small town of Cheraw, South Carolina. Founded in 1965, Long Middle School has been providing quality education to students for over 50 years. The school serves grades 6-8 and currently enrolls around 500 students from the surrounding area.

The faculty at Long Middle School are dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential. They strive to create an environment that encourages learning and growth while also fostering respect and responsibility among all members of the community. In addition to core academic classes such as math, science, English, social studies, and foreign language, Long Middle School offers a variety of extracurricular activities including sports teams, clubs & organizations, music programs, art classes and more.

At Long Middle School we believe that every student should have access to a high-quality education regardless of background or circumstance. We strive to provide our students with the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside of the classroom by offering personalized instruction tailored specifically for each individual’s needs. Our goal is not only to prepare our students academically but also socially so that they can become productive citizens in society when they graduate from our program.
