Westside High School Description
Westside High School is a public high school located in Anderson, South Carolina. Founded in 1965, Westside has been providing quality education to the students of Anderson County for over 50 years. With an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students from grades 9-12, Westside offers a wide variety of courses and activities that are designed to meet the needs of all its students.
The faculty at Westside consists of highly qualified teachers who strive to provide their students with the best possible educational experience. The school also provides numerous extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs and organizations, student government and more. In addition to these offerings, Westside also boasts a strong academic program which includes Advanced Placement (AP) classes and college preparatory courses.
At Westside High School we believe that every student should have access to a quality education regardless of their background or financial situation. We strive to create an environment where our students can reach their full potential while developing lifelong skills that will help them succeed in life after graduation.
