Woonsocket High School Description
Woonsocket High School is a public high school located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Established in 1891, it is the oldest secondary school in the city and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,400 students and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses as well as career and technical education classes.
The faculty at Woonsocket High School are dedicated to providing quality instruction that prepares their students for success after graduation. They strive to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential through rigorous coursework and extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, and student government organizations.
In addition to academics, Woonsocket High School also provides its students with many opportunities for personal growth outside of the classroom. Through community service projects, field trips, guest speakers, internships and more; they aim to foster leadership skills while developing strong relationships between staff members and students alike.
