Westerly High School Description

Westerly High School is a public high school located at 23 Ward Ave in Westerly, Rhode Island. Established in 1892, it is the oldest secondary school in the town of Westerly and serves students from grades 9-12. The school has an enrollment of approximately 1,000 students and offers a wide range of academic programs including Advanced Placement courses as well as career and technical education classes.

The faculty at Westerly High School are dedicated to providing a quality educational experience for their students. They strive to create an environment that encourages learning while also promoting respect for diversity among its student body. In addition to academics, the school provides extracurricular activities such as sports teams, clubs, and other organizations which allow students to explore their interests outside of the classroom.

At Westerly High School, we believe that every student should have access to a quality education regardless of background or financial status. We offer several scholarship opportunities for those who qualify so that all our students can reach their full potential both academically and socially. Our goal is to prepare our graduates with the skills they need to be successful in college or any future endeavors they may pursue after graduation.
