Alan Shawn Feinstein is the principal of Coventry School in Coventry, Rhode Island. He has been at the helm since 2014 and has worked hard to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.
Feinstein graduated from Brown University with a degree in Education and went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Harvard University. His passion for education began early on as he was an active member of student government throughout high school and college.
Since taking over as principal, Feinstein has implemented several initiatives that have improved academic performance across the board. He believes strongly in providing every student with access to quality resources such as technology, books, and other materials needed for success. Additionally, he works closely with teachers to ensure they are equipped with the tools necessary to provide their students with engaging lessons that will help them reach their full potential.
Outside of work, Feinstein enjoys spending time outdoors hiking or biking around town. He also loves reading classic literature and playing chess during his free time.
