Sandy High School Description
Sandy High School is a public school located in the city of Sandy, Oregon. Founded in 1887, it is one of the oldest schools in the area and has been providing quality education to its students for over 130 years. The school offers a wide range of courses from traditional core subjects such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies to more specialized classes like Art, Music and Physical Education.
The student body at Sandy High School consists of approximately 1,000 students from grades 9-12. The faculty are highly qualified professionals who strive to provide an enriching learning environment for their students. In addition to academics, there are many extracurricular activities available including sports teams (football, basketball etc.), clubs (drama club, chess club etc.) and other organizations that promote leadership development among its members.
At Sandy High School we believe that every student should have access to a quality education regardless of their background or financial situation. We offer several programs designed specifically for low-income families such as free lunch programs and scholarships for college tuition assistance. Our goal is to ensure that all our students receive the best possible educational experience so they can reach their full potentials both academically and socially.
